By using any Services that utilize the AI Tools (as defined below), You hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:
-
Definitions:
-
“AI Tool” shall mean any artificial intelligence or machine learning model or tool, including large language models, generative AI tools, and other software tools.
-
“Content” shall mean the Inputs and Outputs.
-
“Input” means any input data You provide to the Services that utilize the AI Tools.
-
“Output” shall mean the output data You receive from the Services based on the Input.
-
“Retention Period” shall mean 30 days.
-
Accuracy: Artificial intelligence is a rapidly evolving field of study. Given the probabilistic nature of the AI Tools, use of the Services may, in some situations, result in Outputs that do not accurately reflect facts. You agree and acknowledge that:
-
The Outputs may not always be accurate. You should not rely on the Outputs from the Services as a sole source of truth or factual information, or as a substitute for professional advice.
-
You must evaluate the Outputs for accuracy and appropriateness for your use case, before using or sharing the Outputs from the Services.
-
You must not use any Output for any purpose that could have a legal or material impact without human reviews.
-
The Services may provide incomplete, incorrect, or offensive Outputs that do not represent Ubiquiti’s views. If an Output references any third party products or services, it doesn’t mean the third party endorses or is affiliated with Ubiquiti.
-
The AI Tools cannot enter into agreements or make any changes to any existing terms and conditions on behalf of Ubiquiti.
-
Any offers or other benefits made by the AT Tools are null and void if they are inconsistent with the offers and other benefits made elsewhere on Ubiquiti’s websites and Services.
-
Usage Policy: You may not use the Services for any illegal, harmful, or abusive activity. For example, you may not: use the Services in a way that infringes, misappropriates or violates anyone’s rights; represent that the Outputs were human-generated; or use the Services to harm any person or destroy any property, or engage in unauthorized activities that violate the security of any service or system. Ubiquiti reserves the right to impose rate limits on, suspend, or terminate Your access to the Services at its sole discretion.
-
Third Party Processor: Ubiquiti relies on certain third parties (the “Third Party Processors”) to deliver the Services to You. Ubiquiti and the Third Party Processors may interrupt, limit, suspend or impose additional requirements on the Services at any time and for any period of time for any reason, including, but not limited to the following: (i) any conduct that violates Ubiquiti’s and the Third Party Processor’s policies; (ii) any abusive use of the Services; or (iii) it has become impractical or unfeasible for any legal or regulatory reason to provide the Services.
-
Use of the Data: Ubiquiti will collect data (collectively, the “System Data”) about Your devices, software, support requests, networks, systems and the devices connected to the networks or the systems to provide the Services to you. You grant all such rights and authorizations relating to the System Data and the Content to Ubiquiti, its affiliates and the Third Party Processors as are necessary to (a) perform the Services, (b) enforce the Terms and exercise their rights and perform their obligations and (c) improve Ubiquiti’s products and services. Ubiquiti may review the Content and System Data to provide, maintain, develop, and improve the Services, comply with applicable law, enforce its terms and policies, and keep the Services safe. After the Retention Period, the Content and the System Data will be queued for removal from Ubiquiti’s systems, unless (i) the Content and the System Data are retained to comply with applicable laws and regulations or (ii) the Content and System Data are stored in automated electronic back-ups and archive systems. For more information on how Ubiquiti handles data, please see Ubiquiti’s Privacy Policy. For more information on how OpenAI, one of the Third Party Processors, handles data, please see its Business Terms and Privacy Policy.
